A business proposal helps to enlighten others or a specific organization about you or your Organization in your absence. It should involve the following:

  • Who you are and what your company does
  • The problem your buyer faces.
  • The solution your company offers to alleviate the problem
  • How your company will implement this solution effectively
  • The differences between your company and other competitors.
  • Why you/your organization is the most suitable for the job or for rendering the services required by the organization.
  • An estimate of resources (time, money, logistics) required to implement the solution

An average business proposal should include the following sections:

  1. Title/Cover page (Name of Brand, Name of the individual involved, page number, full date or year of submission, an appealing cover design, all contact address including social media handles)
  2. Table of Contents (should include the name and page number, main headings, and subheadings)
  • Executive Summary: It is a concise summary of the entire contents of your business proposal. This may include the following:
    • Introduction of your company to the organization
    • An overview of your goals as an organization
    • Milestones achieved, overall vision and future plans
    • Proof of clients your organization has worked with in the past
    • The Problem Statement, Proposed solution, and advantage over other competitors

Your executive summary should be such that even if your client does not read your entire proposal, they should be able to have a clear idea about what your company does and how you can help in rendering better services and improving organizational growth.
