Buhari Is the President of Fulani, His Body Language Shows That – Ortom
President Muhammadu Buhari’s body language, according to Benue State Governor Samuel Ortom, reveals that he is the President of the Fulani people.
Ortom was speaking about the attack on Abegana village, which houses one of the state’s eight designated Internally Displaced Persons camps when he lamented the state’s continuous killings by alleged herdsmen.
Governor Ortom said 70 people were killed in the state’s Makurdi, Guma, and Gwer West local government areas.
According to him, the attack on the Abegana IDP camp on Tuesday, in which seven people were killed, should prompt President Buhari to convene a security summit to address the country’s insecurity.
“We are being overstretched and the people are fed up. We all cast our votes for President Buhari. He must not continue to be aloof. He must tell us where we are going in this country. The body language of the President shows that he is the President of the Fulani people”.
Meanwhile, it has been reported that suspected herdsmen numbering about ten attacked the Abegana IDP camp.
According to one of the victims, the men arrived in the early hours of Tuesday and killed seven people, six of whom were killed on the spot and one of whom died in the hospital.
One of the victims of the attack, David Avese, a father of seven, who was receiving treatment at the State University Teaching Hospital in Makurdi, described his ordeal, saying he lost one child to the herdsmen while three others were shot.
According to Avese,
“The herdsmen surrounded our village around 12 am; they were about 10 in number and they shot and entered people’s houses.
“They killed one of my children and shot three others. I have not seen my wife.”
Another unfortunate victim, According to Gwabo Matthew, “They (herdsmen) operated for over two hours. The attackers were Fulani because they were speaking in Fulfulde language.”
