Adedotun Clement, an Uber driver whose car was taken after he was apprehended by security officers at the Lekki toll gate on Wednesday, October 20, has appealed for assistance in retrieving his vehicle.
Clement told how he was apprehended by security personnel in a video that was later published online.
He claims he was driving passed the tollgate when he saw the area had become boisterous.
To avoid getting “killed,” he stated he chose to park his car and walk away.
The security agents mistook him for a protester and banged him up.
Clement said he was released and later went back to where his car was parked but couldn’t find it anymore. He is appealing for his car to be released by the authorities.
