He Wasn’t Paid Any Money – Burna Boy’s Mom Opens Up On His Alleged Payment By Rivers State (Video)

Burna Boy has become one of the most well-known singers in the country, with the ‘Gbona' crooner achieving new heights on a regular basis. The talented singer has now insisted, in a tweet, that he had to go through the suffering in order to receive the praise he is receiving today.

The mother of Burna Boy, Bose Ogulu insisted that when he was honoured, the singer received no money from the government of the Rivers state.

Remember that after his victory at the 63rd Grammy Awards, Nyesom Wike, Rivers State Governor, honoured Burna Boy.

With his Twice As Tall album, Burna Boy won the Best Global Music Album category. He was supposedly gifted a piece of land and funding for building a house by Wike.

Bose Ogulu maintained that his son received no money when he attended the reception because some Nigerians called the singer to receive a gift like this.

She said that her son was honoured for what it accomplished and that it would have been irresponsible to deny this honour, according to the Mother Burna Boy’s recently interviewed Ebuka, Ebuka.
