Yomi Fabiyi, a famous Nollywood actor, has urged the police to release Olanrewaju Omiyinka, aka Baba Ijesha, who is accused of molesting a minor.
He requested Baba Ijesha’s release from detention by May 12th, 2021, during which he plans to mobilize Nigerians for a protest.

“PEACEFUL PROTEST on Human Rights, Illegal Detention by Police” is scheduled for Wednesday if the police fail to do the right thing and grant BABA IJESHA administrative bail, which is one of his fundamental rights.
“Any progressive state or society must respect the RIGHTS of others as guaranteed by law.
“Remember, if you hesitate to be involved right now, it might be you. FORCED ARRESTS and ILLEGAL IMPRISONMENT are powerful tools of OPPRESSION and POLICE BRUTALITY. We must protest vigorously against this.
