Josh Duhamel Has Hailed Jennifer Lopez A Dream To Work With
The 48-year-old actor plays the 51-year-old star’s on-screen love interest Tom in the upcoming rom-com ‘Shotgun Wedding’ and admitted shooting the flick in the Dominican Republic with Jennifer was the best experience of his career so far.
“It was one of the most enjoyable experiences I’ve had shooting, or working in this business,” he told ‘Entertainment Tonight.
“First and foremost, we’re in the Dominican Republic, which is stunning. Jen was a joy to work with; she’s a true pro who was fully invested in and enthusiastic about the project.”
It was a breeze because the two have been friends for a long time.
“We had a wonderful relationship,” the ‘Transformers’ star said. It was easy for us to get in step because I’ve known her for a long time.
“The crew, the cast, we have a great cast and Jason Moore, the director, it was one of those situations that everything kind of fit perfectly. I’m very proud of the way it turned out and I can’t wait for it all to come together.”
Tom and Darcy (Jennifer) are followed when their “extravagant destination wedding is hijacked by criminals.”
“We couldn’t be happier for our bride and groom of this ‘Shotgun Wedding,’” said Erin Westerman, president of the production for Lionsgate Motion Picture Group. We’re confident that Josh and Jennifer will make a convincing and sultry on-screen pair, and that they’ll be entertaining sparring partners as their dream vacation wedding devolves into a memorable nightmare.”
After Armie Hammer stepped down due to a social media controversy, Josh took over the lead role.
Jason Moore is directing the film, which also features Lenny Kravitz, D’Arcy Carden, Selena Tan, Desmin Borges, and Alex Mallari.
