Sophie Turner Slams the Paparazzi After Her Infant Daughter Willa Is Photographed Without Consent
Sophie Turner, who starred in Game of Thrones, sent a candid message to the paparazzi after pictures of her with her newborn daughter were taken and released.
Sophie Turner is a fiercely loving mother.
After pictures of her outing with her 10-month-old daughter Willa were released online, the Game of Thrones alum and new mom took to her Instagram Story with a since-deleted, very candid video of herself addressing the paparazzi.
She started her video message by saying, “I just woke up.” “I think some paparazzi got a picture of my daughter and me yesterday, and I just want to reiterate that the reason I’m not sharing pictures of my daughter and making sure we can stop paparazzi at all costs is because I explicitly do not want those images out there,” she says.
“She is my only child. She didn’t ask for this life, for the opportunity to be photographed “The 25-year-old Dark Phoenix actress continued to be forthright in her explanations. “It’s f—king creepy that grown men are photographing a baby without their consent. I’m sickened and humiliated, and I respectfully request that everyone stop following us around and refrain from photographing or printing our daughter.”
“It’s gross,” she said again, “and you don’t have my permission.”
Since the announcement that she and husband Joe Jonas were expecting their first child in February 2020, the two stars have remained largely out of the spotlight throughout the pregnancy. The couple’s representatives kept the particulars of the baby’s birth to a bare minimum when the baby was born in July. “Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner are overjoyed to announce the birth of their son,” they said at the time to E! News.
The couple hasn’t shared any pictures of their firstborn child since then, and they’ve only recently shared throwback photos of Turner when she was pregnant.
Jonas paid tribute to the actress’s first Mother’s Day with a quick yet sweet Instagram post on Sunday, May 9. “Happy Mother’s Day to all the wonderful mother’s out there, and to these two Mums,” he captioned pictures of Turner and his own mother, Denise Jonas.
